The former Governor of Ondo State, Mr. Olusegun Mimiko, has joined the presidential race for 2019. He made his intention to run as president on the platform of the Labour party.

He claimed to be under pressure to declare his intention. In his words, “I have found it compelling to declare my intention to run for president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”
