The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has omitted the name of the candidate of the Imo state All Progressives Congress, APC.
In a lists displayed by INEC on Friday at the entrance of INEC office, in Owerri, which had sixty seven candidates of several political parties, the name of Rochas Okorocha’s son-in-law of All Progressives Congress, APC, was missing.
Recall that there is a court case over who becomes the authentic governorship candidate of Imo APC. Top among the names were the candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Emeka Ihedioha, and the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Senator Ifeanyi Araraume.
However, the National Working Committee, NWC, said the leadership of the party had submitted the name of Senator Hope Uzodimma as the authentic gubernatorial candidate of the party in the state. But Okorocha, disagreed with the stand of the NWC, arguing that his son-in-law Uche Nwosu should be described as the flag bearer of the party.
