A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has declared Barr. George Ogara Tabugbo as the authentic Enugu State All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate.

In a judgment delivered Tuesday by Hon. Justice I Ekwo of the Federal High Court 5, the court sacked Senator Ayogu Eze who had earlier been recognized by the APC National Working Committee (NWC) as its candidate for the forthcoming general elections.

The court further directed the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to recognize no other candidate other than Barr. George Ogara Tabugbo as the APC candidate.

Ogara confirmed the development in a telephone conversation with FEIZMEDIA. He described the judgement as a landmark judgement and a victory for all true progressives.
