The winners of this year’s GburuGburu Brain Box radio quiz competition, Transfiguration mission college, Nsukka and others have been commended, for their victory in this year’s edition.

One of the sponsors of the programme, Engineer James Ajibo gave the commendation in Nsukka after the final stage of the competition for the Junior classes.

Engr Ajibo represented at the event by Mr Nkem Ossai described the exercise as the best in the zone, and encouraged other well to do individuals to join hands in sponsoring it.

On his part, the coordinator of the programme, Mr Don Cyril Onah expressed joy over the success of the competition, pointing out that it was a challenge starting over again after the covid-19 lockdown.

The coordinator advised other schools to avail themselves the opportunity to join especially in the ongoing registration for the senior classes.

Encouraging the students to always read their books, the General manager, Radio Nigeria, Voice FM Nsukka, Mr Aka Eze Aka advised the participated schools who could not reach the final stage not to relent but read harder ahead of next year’s edition.

Some of the students of the schools which took first and second positions, Michael Success of the transfiguration mission school, Nsukka and Erigo Chisom of the St Catherine Secondary school, Nsukka thanked the organizers of the programme as well as radio Nigeria Voice FM, Nsukka for given them such wonderful opportunity.
