Industrialist Chief Uche Nnaji’s (Nwakaibie) APC Enugu State Gubernatorial Candidate thank you tour to 260 Political wards in Enugu State is quite unprecedented and first of it’s kind in history of politics in Enugu State.
On 7th July 2022, Chief Uche Nnaji (Nwakaibie) started his personally conceived ideology of ward thank you tour to All Progressives Congress leaders, party faithfuls and Supporters across 260 Political wards in Enugu State simply to say thank you to the people for supporting his Candidature as he emerged as the party gubernatorial Candidate in most peaceful, credible and transparent primary election in Enugu State.
As the information about the ward tour filled the air, I can vividly remember how an aide to the governor of Enugu State queried how possible it’s for chief Uche Nnaji to tour all the wards as he further inquired if it’s just LGA tour and emphatically I made it clear to him that the information is explicit and complete.
Indeed the young aide’s awe and question was borne out of docility of PDP in Enugu State and their usual way and manner of Politics and Politicking in which the good people of Enugu State have been relegated to the background in the affairs of the state and their focus is on god-fatherism in which PDP have built in Enugu State against the Interest of the generality of the masses of Ndi Enugu State. A practice that makes one man in government house to sit and hand-pick all candidates.
However, the investment expert Chief Nnaji ward tour have endeared him to the good people of Enugu State who have been rejected and relegated by the unconcerned PDP Government in the state, as the tour have afforded Chief Nnaji the opportunity to interact and see the people’s problem and plight in all the rural communities visited with first class Information. Now the failed PDP Government that have no plan for ndi Enugu state, have hurriedly copied Chief Uche Nnaji thank you tour but as a docile party which have nothing to offer to the people of Enugu State, their own hurried LGA tour of two weeks was to go to wave hands to fellow PDP clique of cabal groups, appointees at LGA headquarters.
Obviously as a failed Government in which the people of Enugu State have rejected ahead of 2023 gubernatorial election in the state PDP in the state knew that by the time her gubernatorial candidate go to the real people at the grassroot, who they have eaten their yesterday and looted their today, they would be faced with embarrassing real trending questions which include why the fund to build hospitals, roads, schools, social amenities and general welfare of the people of Enugu State was looted by PDP government in the state, why EFCC arrested their candidate and other cabals after serving as Commissioners in Enugu State, why ministry of finance Enugu got burnt amid his EFCC investigation into the case, if it’s true that as a young man who just finished NYSC(youth corper) he was appointed as finance Commissioner in the state and just one year after he registered oil firm, if it’s true that him and his company were indicted for oil subsidy scam and if indeed it’s true he lied on oath on INEC form that he was never indicted by any court, judicial panel of inquiry or a panel of committee set up for investigation of financial impropriety by federal government of Nigeria etc.
Moreover, While chief Uche Nnaji and his think tank team are already drawing and analyzing the best system and approach to sell his unblemished personality, to the citizens of the state, whilst he plan to roll out his robust all inclusive agenda contained in his manifesto in due time and inline with the new electoral law and in accordance with INEC guidelines, the failed PDP in the state and her gubernatorial candidate keep on copying whatever they see the incoming governor of Enugu State Chief Uche Nnaji is doing.
Ahead of this election from thank you tour, he was presented with a symbolic Igbo osiso ofor staff, but what is worrisome is that in all these style of resorting to copy and imitate whatever Chief Nnaji do, the PDP gubernatorial candidate have failed to copy correctly as the former worst finance Commissioner in history of Enugu State and PDP gubernatorial primary election highest bidder and flag bearer in his usual disposition as imitation expert wanted to collect Igbo symbolic Osiso ofor staff just as he had learnt that the ofor staff was presented to Chief Uche Nnaji last month in Aninri LGA. So this time around he committed sacrilege of highest order in the process by taking the igbo revered ofor staff which is symbolism of justice and authority was presented to him by some traditional rulers with his left hand. The failed PDP Enugu State gubernatorial candidate sacrilegiously accepted the Osiso ofor staff with left hand ( sign of doom ) and equally denigrated and desecrated culture and tradition of Igbo land as he raised Osiso ofor tree with the same left hand, what a taboo (Aru).
However, the royal fathers knowing fully well the curse which follows the wrong handling of Osiso ofor staff simply allowed mr imitation of PDP to go with the curse as they washed off their hands. It’s important Ndi Enugu call on this Royal fathers to kindly get libations to appease, pray and cleans the land of Enugu State in which PDP Enugu State gubernatorial candidate have abused, desecrated and denigrated in the Eastern capital of Nigeria, as this single action would go a long to give Ndi Enugu insight on who PDP in Enugu State have handpicked to rule this state, a man who do not know his left from his right, a man who do not know that it’s wrong to accept and held Osiso ofor with left hand, if he don’t know, then what did he know that he wants to lead Enugu State which is a predominantly Igbo dominated area where culture and traditions of Igbo land hold sway.
Information: from the ward tour of the 260 Political wards so far in Enugu State by All Progressives Congress Gubernatorial Candidate chief Uche Nnaji, it has demonstrated the organic love of the people for him and the people’s general resolve to ensure that the PDP cabals in Enugu State would be rejected by all in Enugu State as 2023 election promises to be for the best personality. The major Agricultural investor Chief Nnaji, have said that the quest is not for him to be governor but most importantly his resolution to develop and industrialize Enugu State for wealth/Job creation, for employment opportunities for the youths and general welfare of the good people of Enugu State.
He equally accentuated on the fact that Enugu would be developed with the support of the people of Enugu State and not with blessings of the few cabals as he will never accept the blessings of the cabal group which have held Enugu State down since return to Democratic rule in 1999 in the last 24 years.
