I Have Confidence In The New APC Leadership – Ogara

The Deputy Governorship Candidate of APC in Enugu State in the 2023 general election, Barr. George Ogara has expressed his total confidence in the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the South-East and Nigeria in general.

Barr. Ogara who was reacting to the issues raised by the State chairman of APC in Enugu State Hon. Ugochukwu Agaballah during the APC South-East Executive Committees and Stakeholders Meeting in Owerri, the Imo State capital, described the speech of the chairman as concise and rich. Barr. Ogara said this before newsmen after the APC meeting on Tuesday.

Hon. Agaballah had within two minutes of his speech briefed the leaders and stakeholders of APC in the zone on the party’s scorecard in Enugu State before and after the 2023 elections. He highlighted how the state leadership sanitized the party from the PDP sponsored political sabotage.

Recall that after the general elections last year, the Enugu State APC suspended many notable politicians including the former Senate President, Sen. Ken Nnamani on several allegations of anti-party activities and political romance with the PDP-led Government House in Enugu.

Ogara said that by his judgement of the current skilled leaders in the party led by Sen. Hope Uzodimma, the governor of Imo State, one is assured of good governance within and outside the party in the South-East zone, expressing his confidence in the leadership of the party from the National level through the zone, the state and down to the ward level.

The stakeholders meeting was well attended by members from the five states of the South-East and featured the induction of several decampees from other political parties.
