The Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, discussed the failure of INEC servers during the 2023 presidential election in Nigeria.
He attributed the server issues to the “establishment of criminality” and emphasized the need for continued engagement to improve the system. Obi highlighted that Amazon confirmed there were no global glitches on election day, suggesting the server problems were deliberately caused by the establishment.
He encouraged supporters to persist in the fight for change, acknowledging that it is a long journey and that they are prepared to correct any mistakes without specifying them.
Obi’s remarks were made during a weekend event in Canada, where he addressed various issues related to the 2023 elections.
