Qatar’s Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, is expected to discuss the escalating violence between Israel and Hezbollah. Qatar, along with Egypt and the U.S., has been involved in negotiations aimed at achieving a ceasefire in Gaza to stabilize the region.

Jordan’s King Abdullah II, whose country borders the conflict zone and has been involved in defending against Iranian drones, will be among the first speakers. Other leaders set to address the assembly include Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, Vietnamese President To Lam, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, and Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
