Former Senate President and APC chieftain Sen. Ken Nnamani calls for unity among the two factions of All Progressives Congress in Enugu State ahead of tomorrow’s presidential election.

Addressing party members loyal to Deacon Okey Ogbodo shortly after the stake holders meeting in Enugu on Friday, Nnamani said, “I have seen the court order authenticating George Ogara’s candidacy and I have not seen any other court order challenging it.”

He congratulated Ogara and further called on the Ben Nwonye faction to work with the Okey Ogbodo faction to ensure victory for Muhammadu Buhari and the National Assembly candidates of the APC. “What is important to us now as a party is to win tomorrow’s election. If we don’t win the election, then there is nothing for the two factions to contest for.”

Okey Ogbodo speaking, promised that his party will conduct themselves in a peaceful manner. He reminded Nnamani of how his party supporters ensured peace during president Muhammadu Buhari visit to the state.

Other dignitaries that attended the meeting include Barr. George Ogara, the APC governorship candidate, Senator Ayogu Eze, Osita Okechukwu, the candidates for the National Assembly and many others.
