A chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC), Enugu State Chapter, Barr. George Ogara has reacted to the appointment of Mrs. Ginika Florene Tor Williams by President Muhammadu Buhari.

In a statement made available to TheSlides through his media aid, Felix Izu on Friday, Ogara said that Ginika’s appointment is a reward for total loyalty and her advocacy for unity. He also commended Mr. President for the honour and recognition to her.

“The nomination of Mrs. Ginika Florence Tor Williams is a reward for total loyalty, advocacy for unity, deep conviction to stick to the truth, and long-standing commitments to the service of humanity especially the good people of Enugu State.

“We thank President Muhammadu Buhari for this honour and the recognition to have our daughter to serve in an A-list parastatal and we are confident that Mrs. Florence Ginika Tor Williams, being committed to the ideals of our great party, APC and will make us proud in the course of this call to service for a better Enugu State we can all be proud of”, he said.

He also commended the efforts of the Honourable Minister for Foreign Affairs, H.E Geoffrey Onyeama. “This shows the efficacy of his leadership of APC in Enugu State”, he added.

Mrs. Ginika who was a running mate to Barr. George Ogara in the 2019 Gubernatorial elections in Enugu State, was among the 38 members of the Federal Character Commission appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari.
