The National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has rescheduled the party’s governorship primaries in Lagos, Enugu and Adamawa states.

The Acting National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Mr Yekini Nabena, announced this in a statement on Monday October 1st.

The mode of primaries for Enugu and Adamawa states have also been changed from indirect to direct primaries.

The primary for Lagos will now take place on Tuesday, October 2nd, 2018, while that of Enugu and Adamawa will be held on Thursday, October 4th, 2018.

No official reason was given for this decision. But this will not be unconnected to the violence that erupted in the primaries especially that of Enugu State, where Barr. George Ogara a popular aspirant was denied access to the venue of the primaries with his teeming supporters. That of Lagos was earlier rescheduled to hold today, October 1.
